The Homan’s have worked diligently for more than 10 years of owning Lehr’s Prime Market to make sure we provide only the highest quality in all that we offer. We’ve now gone one step further and are raising our own cattle on our farm in Russellville, Ohio.
Presenting HomanGrown Beef. Alongside us, we rely on our favorite farmer friends, Adam and Aubrey Bolender, multi-generational farmers, to ensure that HomanGrown Beef is raised to the happiest and healthiest standards, ensuring a prime finished product.
Our Bull is 50% Simmental and 50% Black Angus, and cows are 100% Black Angus. This equates to greater marbeling throughout and larger rib eyes. Enjoy our Beef and fresh produce – farm raised in Russellville and Milford.

Our professional butchers, led by son, Jake (“JT”) Homan, offer your favorite meats, cut-to-order, all day, every day.
They are well-versed in every cut in the case and can also suggest cooking and grilling tips if needed.
BEEF
Lehr’s Prime offers the finest cuts, from Prime, Top-Choice and Wagyu Steaks, to Tomahawks, Burgers, Kebabs, Stewing Beef and Pinwheels.
USDA suggested cooking temps: Rare: 120 - 130 deg | Medium Rare: 130 - 140 deg | Medium: 140 - 150 deg | Well-Done: 150 - 165 deg

LAMB
Young lamb is succulent and tender with a slightly sweet mild flavor. Offered seasonally, we are also happy to order it in upon request. Our butchers offer full legs of lamb, bone-in or boneless, chops, lollipop chops (frenched), racks of lamb and also ground. Contrary to popular belief, lamb isn’t just a special occasion or holiday fare. Enjoy some today!
