Our professional butchers and in-house chefs, led by son Jake (“JT”) Homan, offer your favorite meats, Cut-To-Order and even give cooking & grilling tips. These are all USDA-suggested meat cooking temperatures.
Based on 350 degrees but ovens vary. Internal temperatures are more important than cooking time! Hover over each meat type to see our cooking tips.
BEEF
RARE: 115-125 DEGREES
- Internal appearance: dark red; very moist with warm juices
MEDIUM RARE: 125-135 DEGREES
- Internal appearance: lighter red, very moist with warm juices
MEDIUM: 140-150 DEGREES
- Internal appearance: pink red; very moist w/ clear pink juices
- Internal appearance: dark red; very moist with warm juices
MEDIUM RARE: 125-135 DEGREES
